Focusing on its customers' needs, Hisilicon releases a high-performance H.264 codec chipset Hi3511/12, the second-generation of IP surveillance solution, which echos Hisilicon's committment to assist its customers with more competitive products in IP surveillance based on Hi351x.

With embedded hardware accelerator of ARM9EJ-s, H.264 and MJPEG, Hi3511/12 realizes 2.75 Channel D1 real-time encoding and 2 megapixels IP Camera encoding. For image processing, Hi3511/12 provides dedicated hardware modules, such as OSD, 3D De-interlace, Noise Filter. Through H.264 codec engine, it matches different bandwidth requirements, such as GPRS, EDGE, CDMA, 3G, ADSL, WiFi, LAN, PON, ranging from 32kbps to 20Mbps. The diversified peripheral interfaces such as multi-channel VI input, PCI 2.3, dual USB ports, SDIO, as well as the multi-configurable codec resources, will ensure the flexibility of customer's product development.

Hi3511/12 can be applied to wide-range of products in video surveillance, such as multi-channel DVR, multi-channel board, DVS and IPC.
