Huawei Launches the World’s First 8-Antenna 4.5G Modem Chipset
On February 26, Huawei launched the world’s first 8-antenna 4.5G modem chipset Balong 765 and demonstrated its innovations in the application of mobile connectivity and Internet of Vehicles (IoV) for vertical sectors at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. As wireless network architecture evolves from 4G to 5G, Balong 765 provides reliable connectivity solutions and it reshapes the lifestyle.
Balong 765 has world’s leading communication connectivity capabilities and it can improve the utilization efficiency of operators’ spectrum resources, by bringing ultra-fast communication experiences to end users, and providing highly integrated and high-reliability chip solutions for IoV. It is the world’s first chipset to support LTE Cat.19 with downlink data-rate up to 1.6Gbps in FDD network and up to 1.16Gbps in the TD-LTE network. 2. UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle)
